Many factors, which are often not optimal in every herd, affect the cost-benefit of such technologies, including the management, knowledge, expertise and attitude of the involved personnel, farmer’s economic and social conditions, to name a few. Artificial insemination (AI) is the most important biotechnology that its application, along with other technologies such as germ cell cryopreservation especially sperm freezing, can result in considerable improvement in genetics of animal production and distribution of the elite genotypes. Estrous synchronization and sex-sorted sperm technologies increase the efficiency of AI. Embryo transfer technology can improve the female reproduction; however, its application is much more costly, and it is not as effective as AI. In most developing countries, AI is often used for upgrading the native animals with imported semen, and less often for breeding of the native dams with the sperm of native males. Due to lack of effective and reliable methods of animal identification, recording systems, and defined animal breeding schemes, the more advanced technologies cannot be efficiently applied in these animals. The use of molecular markers is generally limited to the genetic identification studies which are often carried out with international collaboration. This paper describes the challenges of the application of assisted reproductive technologies and biotechnologies, with emphasis on the developing countries. When available, the information on Iran will also be presented.}, keywords = {Breeding,Developing countries,Reproduction}, title_fa = {چالش‌های کاربرد زیست‌فناوری‌های تولیدمثلی در دام}, abstract_fa = {برخی از فناوری‌ها و زیستفناوری‌های تولیدمثلی نقش مهمی در بهره‌وری دام به ویژه در کشورهای پیشرفته داشتهاند. زیست‌فناوری‌های تولیدمثلی، به عنوان جایگزین روش‌های رایج، امکان دستکاری فرآیندهای تولیدمثلی را فراهم کردهاند، اما بهکارگیری آن‌ها در مزرعه های پرورش دام با مزیتها و محدودیت‌هایی همراه است. ارزش کاربردی این روش‌ها زیر تأثیر سازه‌های فراوانی است که اغلب در هر تک گله بهینه نیستند. تلقیح مصنوعی را می‌توان مهم‌ترین زیست‌فناوری دانست که همراه با فناوری‌های یخ زدن یاخته‌های جنسی (به ویژه اسپرم) میتواند موجب پیشرفت‌های زیادی در ژنتیک تولید و نیز پخش ژنوتیپ‌های برتر شود. همزمان‌سازی فحلی و جداسازی اسپرم‌های X و Y می‌توانند به افزایش کارآیی تلقیح مصنوعی کمک کنند. فناوری انتقال رویان می‌تواند موجب پیشرفت ژنتیکی در ماده‌ها شود، اما اثرگذاری آن به اندازه اثرگذاری تلقیح مصنوعی نیست. هزینه‌های فناوری انتقال رویان نیز به مراتب بیشتر از هزینه‌های تلقیح مصنوعی است. تلقیح مصنوعی تا اندازه‌ای در کشورهای در حال توسعه در گاو و برای دورگه گیری دامهای بومی با اسپرم خارجی، به کار برده می‌شود. در واقع به دلیل نبود روش‌های قابل اعتماد برای شماره‌گذاری، نداشتن سامانه داده‌برداری دقیق و نبود برنامه‌های ارزیابی دام‌های بومی، در عمل نمیتوان فناوری‌های پیشرفته‌تر را در دام‌های بومی به کار برد. همچنین نشانگرهای مولکولی بهطور عمده برای بررسیهای شناسایی ژنتیکی و با همکاری‌های بین‌المللی، اجرا میشوند. این مقاله به چالشهای کاربرد فناوریهای تولیدمثلی در مزرعههای پرورش دام در کشورهای کمتر توسعه یافته میپردازد و تا آن‌جا که یافتههای قابل اعتماد در دسترس باشند، درباره وضعیت این فناوریها در ایران بحث می‌کند.}, keywords_fa = {به‌نژادی,تولیدمثل,کشورهای در حال توسعه}, url = {https://srj.asnr.ias.ac.ir/article_115172.html}, eprint = {https://srj.asnr.ias.ac.ir/article_115172_0e66c22e22fbe7a9f84f44ffeb886293.pdf} }
